Melissa Adams – Principal Designer
Melissa Adams founded her design firm in 1998, blending her successful career in decorative fabric design and luxury home product development with a deep passion for interior design. She holds a BA from Syracuse University and an MA from Manhattanville College.
Drawing on her extensive background in textile and product design, Melissa brings a refined eye for color, pattern, and texture to every project. Her intuitive ability to mix fabrics and furnishings results in warm, inviting, and timeless interiors.
Over the years, Melissa has designed for top brands such as P/Kaufman, Ethan Allen, Robert Allen, Calvin Klein Home, Sigrid Olsen, Kravet Fabrics, and Waterford Crystal. She has also contributed to high-profile commercial projects for clients including Disney, Marriott, and The Four Seasons.
Melissa’s work has been recognized with multiple industry awards and featured in various design publications. Yet, she considers her greatest achievement to be the satisfaction of her clients—creating spaces that feel as comfortable as they are beautiful.
Her strong attention to detail and personalized approach ensure a smooth, thoughtful design process from concept through completion.

- Vendor Selection: recommended suppliers for your tile, countertops, cabinets, lighting and fixture needs
- Supervision & Coordination: interact seamlessly with other job team members (architect, contractor, landscaper)
to ensure the best possible outcome for client projects
